Life can become difficult in ways that are not always easy to understand or explain. You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or caught in patterns that keep repeating in your relationships, work, or daily life. Perhaps you understand intellectually what you would like to change, yet find yourself returning to the same feelings, conflicts, or ways of coping.

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for adults who are seeking relief from current difficulties while developing a deeper understanding of themselves. People come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, recurring interpersonal conflicts, or a persistent sense that something is holding them back.

My approach is thoughtful, engaged, and collaborative. Together, we pay attention to what is happening in your life now, as well as the emotional patterns, early relationships, and unconscious expectations that may shape how you relate to yourself and others. Dreams, fantasies, and the feelings that emerge in therapy can also provide meaningful insight into experiences that may be difficult to express directly.

The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the work. The feelings, expectations, and ways of relating that naturally emerge between us can offer valuable insight into longstanding patterns that may be difficult to recognize elsewhere. As we explore these experiences with curiosity and care, new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others can emerge.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy typically involves one or two sessions each week. Psychoanalysis is a more intensive form of treatment, with more frequent sessions that allow for a deeper and more sustained exploration of your inner world. Together, we can determine which approach is best suited to your needs, goals, and circumstances.

My aim is to provide a respectful, confidential, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak freely. As unconscious patterns become more recognizable, you may find greater freedom to make choices that feel more authentic, build more satisfying relationships, and approach life with greater confidence, emotional flexibility, and self-understanding.

I welcome you to contact me to discuss what is bringing you to therapy and whether working together may be a good fit.
